   2016 Field Techs

Our 2016 Field Technician Internships have been filled. Our 2016 Summer Field Tech Internship program began May 9, 2016.  Our interns will begin their experience by learning about corn, soybean, wheat, and alfalfa growth stages, weeds, diseases, and insects.  They will also gain insight into a fulltime career, develop a professional network, and build confidence and professional character, all while making observations and decisions that are practical, important and meaningful to our producers.

Benefits of our internship include an incredible agronomy education and gaining valuable experience and connections in the agriculture industry. Many of our former interns have said they learn more in the 12 weeks as a Harvest Land intern than they did in four years of related college work.

Qualified candidates  for a Field Tech Internship should have an interest in agronomy and agriculture, but need not be an agronomy major. Former interns have had majors ranging from art education and accounting to Biology, however they have all had the interest in agriculture and the ability to learn.

If you would like to learn more about our internship program and want to be a part of this group next summer, please send your resume or contact information to Luann Nichol, H.R. Manager lnichol@harvestlandcoop.com P.O. Box 516, Richmond IN 47375.
